Welcome to Snug Ink Studios. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website, products, templates, digital files and related services.

By accessing our website, purchasing a template, downloading a digital product or using any Snug Ink Studios material, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

1. About Snug Ink Studios

Snug Ink Studios provides digital website templates, design resources and related digital products for small businesses, creatives, service providers and personal brands.

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Snug Ink Studios. “You” and “your” refer to any website visitor, customer or purchaser of our products.

2. Digital Products

Our products are digital products. This may include Squarespace website templates, Canva graphics, copy prompts, workbooks, setup guides, launch checklists and other downloadable or online-accessible resources.

No physical product will be shipped.

Product descriptions, inclusions and compatibility details are listed on each product page. It is your responsibility to read the product details carefully before purchasing.

3. Template Platform Compatibility

Snug Ink Studios templates are designed for the platform stated on the relevant product page, such as Squarespace 7.1.

You are responsible for having your own account, subscription, domain, hosting and any other third-party tools required to use the template. These costs are not included in the purchase price unless clearly stated.

We are not responsible for changes made by Squarespace, Canva or any other third-party platform that may affect how a template, design file or feature works in the future.

4. Purchases & Payment

All prices are listed on our website and may be shown in the currency selected or displayed at checkout.

Payment is required in full at the time of purchase. You will not receive access to the product until payment has been successfully processed.

We reserve the right to update our pricing, offers, bundles or product inclusions at any time. Price changes do not apply retrospectively to purchases already completed.

5. Taxes, Duties & International Purchases

Snug Ink Studios may sell to customers worldwide.

Depending on your location, taxes, duties, VAT, GST or similar charges may apply. These may be calculated at checkout or charged separately by your local authority, payment provider or platform.

You are responsible for any taxes, duties or charges that apply in your country, unless they are collected directly at checkout.

6. Delivery & Access

After purchase, you will receive access to the relevant template, files, instructions or digital resources using the delivery method stated on the product page or checkout confirmation.

Please make sure the email address you provide at checkout is correct. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect customer details.

If you do not receive your purchase confirmation or access instructions, please contact us through our Contact page.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally final once access has been provided, files have been delivered, or template access instructions have been sent.

We do not offer refunds for:

  • change of mind

  • accidental purchase

  • lack of time to use the product

  • choosing the wrong product

  • not having the required platform account or subscription

  • not reading the product description before purchase

  • expecting a custom website when purchasing a template

  • third-party platform changes outside our control

This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer laws. Where a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy is required by law, we will comply with those obligations.

If you believe there is a genuine issue with your purchase, please contact us with your order details and a clear explanation of the problem.

8. EU, UK & Other Consumer Withdrawal Rights

If you are located in a country or region that provides a statutory cooling-off, cancellation or withdrawal right for online purchases, those rights may apply to your purchase.

Where legally permitted, by purchasing a digital product and requesting or receiving immediate access, download, installation instructions or digital delivery, you acknowledge that the product may be treated as supplied before the end of any withdrawal period. This may affect your right to cancel once access has been provided.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Template Licence

When you purchase a Snug Ink Studios template or digital product, you are purchasing a licence to use that product. You are not purchasing ownership of the design, layout, files, copy structure, graphics or intellectual property.

Unless otherwise stated, your purchase gives you a single-use licence for one website or one business.

You may customise the template for your own brand or business. However, you must not:

  • resell, redistribute or share the template

  • claim the template design as your own original product

  • copy the template to create competing products

  • use the template to create multiple websites without an appropriate licence

  • upload the template files or resources to public platforms

  • include the template or files in another product for sale

  • give access to the template to another person, business or client unless permitted by your licence

If you want to use a template for client work, you must check the relevant product licence or contact us before purchasing.

10. Intellectual Property

All Snug Ink Studios designs, templates, layouts, graphics, written materials, guides, workbooks, website content, branding and digital products remain the intellectual property of Snug Ink Studios unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, resell, distribute, modify for resale or use our intellectual property in a way that competes with Snug Ink Studios.

You are welcome to customise your purchased template for your own permitted use under your licence.

11. Canva Files, Fonts, Images & Third-Party Assets

Some products may include Canva files, font suggestions, stock image suggestions or links to third-party resources.

You are responsible for checking and complying with the licence terms of any third-party fonts, images, icons, plugins, integrations, software or platforms you choose to use.

Demo images, placeholder copy and example content are for presentation purposes only unless clearly stated otherwise. You should replace demo content with your own brand content before publishing your website.

12. Template Support

Your purchase may include basic template support if stated on the product page.

Template support may include help with accessing files, understanding setup instructions or clarifying included resources.

Template support does not include:

  • custom website design

  • custom coding

  • full website setup

  • copywriting services

  • SEO services

  • Squarespace account or billing support

  • Canva account support

  • troubleshooting third-party integrations

  • ongoing website maintenance

Additional services may be offered separately where available.

13. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • reading the product description before purchasing

  • making sure the template is suitable for your needs

  • having the required platform account or subscription

  • customising the template with your own content

  • checking your website before publishing

  • ensuring your own website content is accurate and lawful

  • adding your own legal pages, policies and business information

  • making backups where appropriate

  • complying with any laws that apply to your website, business or location

We are not responsible for errors, omissions, legal issues or business losses caused by your own website content, setup choices or failure to review your site before launch.

14. No Guaranteed Results

Snug Ink Studios templates are designed to help you create a polished and professional website foundation.

We do not guarantee that using our templates will result in increased sales, bookings, enquiries, traffic, search rankings, income, business growth or any other specific result.

Your results depend on many factors, including your offer, pricing, content, marketing, audience, website traffic, customer experience and business strategy.

15. Website Copy, SEO & Legal Pages

Some templates or resources may include sample copy, copy prompts, SEO suggestions, legal page placeholders or policy structure.

These are provided as general guidance only. They are not legal, financial, tax, business or professional advice.

You are responsible for reviewing and replacing all sample content with information that accurately reflects your own business.

For legal pages, privacy policies, terms, disclaimers or compliance requirements, you should seek advice from a qualified professional where needed.

16. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may update, change, suspend or remove parts of the website or product pages at any time.

We are not liable for temporary website downtime, technical issues, platform errors, third-party outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

17. Errors & Product Information

We do our best to ensure product descriptions, pricing and website information are accurate.

However, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, cancel incorrect listings or refuse orders affected by obvious mistakes.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snug Ink Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, website downtime, data loss or reputational harm.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product, except where a different remedy is required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Snug Ink Studios against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities or expenses arising from your misuse of our products, breach of these Terms, infringement of intellectual property rights, unlawful website content or use of our templates outside the permitted licence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, unless mandatory consumer laws in your country provide otherwise.
